Plastic Nose Cone Mods
Plastic nose cones are commonly used for rockets from model up through HPR size. However, the space inside the nose is wasted and, particularly in short rockets, is valuable. This video shows you how to add nose weight and build an electronics bay into a plastic nose cone (running time 16m).
The nose cone used is a 3.9" Loc/Precision PNC-3.90, but these techniques will work with any plastic nose cone from model rocket through HPR size.
